I think someone said they hate the name Shane and I have a cousin by that name too. I have a cousin who named his kid Killian. I think my family has poor taste in names.

I didn't say that but I would like to add it to the list of names I hate . Killian... eh, could be worse. Does Killian have brother Guinness and a sister named Harp? It should be spelled Cillian. I hate when the first name is spelled Killian.

How in the hell is Neveah even pronounced? That's what I wonder. Is it like neh vee ah or nee veh ah. In my head I pronounce it nevah (like never without an r). It also bothers me that it's supposed to be heaven backwards but the common way to spell it reverses the a and the e.

How in the hell is Neveah even pronounced? Na-veh-ah I think? Ok, with that pronunciation, I can see what you mean.

"IT'S HEAVEN SPELLED BACKWARDS!" to me is the same as yelling out "I'M A TEENAGE MOTHER!!!" It feels very immature. Agreed. There are so many Biblical or whatever names to use that are pretty (and some that are awful if you're looking for awful). Andplusalso, backwards heaven? That's hell I think. Just name your kid Jesus if you can't think of anything better, don't make stuff up.

Just name your kid Jesus if you can't think of anything better, don't make stuff up. Or "Trinity," if you don't want to go strictly Biblical. Or Ytinirt. It's trinity spelled backwards. So unique!

Or "Trinity," if you don't want to go strictly Biblical. Trinity makes me think about the Matrix. I watch too much wrestling. Trinity makes me think of a wrestler or a stripper.

H's cousin named her baby boy Alloushi. They are calling him Ali for short. Poor kid The only thing I can think of when reading that is Allons-y. My cousin was going to name her baby girl, Kenley. She liked MacKenley but wanted it to be you-nique. Luckily, she ended up having a boy and named him Wyatt.

Friends of mine just named their daughter Trinity. Middle name Zelda. I don't mind Zelda. I would think of Princess Zelda every time I heard it, but I don't like Trinity.

Rachel Bilson just had her baby. It is a girl. Yay! Anyway, she named her Briar Rose. My first thought was awe... Then I was like Briar? I can't decide if I hate or love the name.

Ha! I totally didn't put the two together. It probably is a Sleeping Beauty reference. Is it sick that knowing that makes me like the name?
